Administrative Officer

Who are we looking for?

An administrative talent to work closely with other team members in a dynamic environment to take care of administrative services for intellectual property rights (IPR) including, but not limited to renewal of patents, follow up and completion of corresponding procedures and related services. You provide support to attorneys and other departments in preparing, creating and maintaining documents that are relevant to perform those activities. You follow up with our clients and aspire to an excellent customer experience.

Your responsibilities

Handling administrative tasks with respect to patent renewals for the entire GEVERS group. Managing correspondence with authorities and agents regarding those procedures.  Working according to deadlines and internal service level agreements. Checking and verifying databases and official documents to ascertain the accuracy of information. Invoicing, according to internal guidelines and timelines. Corresponding with clients, following-up on instructions and assisting them with questions.

Your profile

You have a degree, preferably in an Administrative Orientation / Office Management / Languages – With excellent command of French and English, written and oral. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus – Proficient in MS Office, internet, e-mail and database management – Discrete and able to handle confidential matters – Customer centric – Solution oriented – An eye for administrative and legal detail – Sense of responsibility and accuracy – Able to work alone but also a team player – Eager to learn and flexible – Resilient and able to cope with tight deadlines – Motivated with a positive attitude.
