IP Attorney GEVERS Legal – Diegem


An enthusiastic colleague, familiar with IP (a.o. trademarks, designs, copyright, domain names) - Good communication skills and strong organizational ability - Client-oriented and able to integrate in the team to take part in the development of business for the local office. 



You will advise innovative companies and be intensively involved in all aspects of protecting their IP. You will advise clients about availability searches, protection strategies and filing of trademarks, domain names and designs. You will protect the client's interests by defining an IP strategy, dealing with different IP Offices, foreign authorities and agents, drafting contracts, defending/assisting clients in disputes or negotiations with adverse parties. Your close contacts with colleagues within the GEVERS group will ensure the best possible advice about further possibilities of protecting/defending each innovation/IP asset.



You have a degree in Law, with an additional IP degree and at least 3 years of professional experience – Mother tongue French and excellent command of English, written and oral - good command of Dutch is a plus – Responsible, with an eye for precision – Eager to learn and flexible – Stress resistant and able to cope with tight deadlines – Motivated with a positive attitude – Able to work independently but also in a team – Commercial attitude and willing to develop business.
